Vote to choose shirts from Bahia enters the final phase; club will have retro shirtAugust 12, 2019
News in Bahia. At the end of July, we showed here that the club had launched the “Squad Cloak 2.0” action, with their fans creating and choosing the team's shirts 1, 2 and 3 for the second year in a row. Now the contest has moved to its second stage, with the revelation of the finalist models.
The choice was made by a club judging committee that selected five models from each uniform from over 1,000 submitted models. The voting of the finalist models is taking place on the official website of Bahia and goes until the end of this Monday.
Bahia is dressed by the club's own brand Squadron. The new shirts will be launched in 2020.

RETRO SHIRT LAUNCH
The contest will also yield a retro shirt to Bahia in 2020. The action was not initially planned, but a model sent by a fan caught the club's attention, which will take the uniform off the paper.
Supporter Vitor Torres created a model inspired by the first record of a three-color club uniform in his history, worn in 1934. The submission went to the shirt 3 contest, but the model won a place of its own.
The promise of production of the model was known after fans asked on social networks why the project of Vitor Torres, who fell in favor on the Internet in the first phase of the contest, was not selected among the finalists for uniform 3.
This shirt has been selected! As it is a 1934 replica, the club decided to launch the model as retro, with no need for voting or sponsorship, which could damage the layout.

The model was named by Vitor Torres as “Alma Tricolor”. See images below.
It is not known, however, if the model will be used by the team in the field.
