AS Rome has always been original on social networks to stage the signatures of its new players. This season, the transalpine club wants to use the power of social networks to help families in despair. Whenever the club announces a rookie to net surfers, it will slide at the same time the faces of two missing children accompanied by a descriptive card.
The Romans partnered with several children's search associations (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Telefono Azzurro, Missing People and Missing Child Kenya) to launch this beautiful operation. On Instagram and Twitter, Italian training is followed by about 5 million accounts.
"We are not trying to be original or to put ourselves forward, but simply to do everything in our power to raise awareness. If we can help in any way to find someone who has information that would allow someone to get in touch with one of the charities, then that would be a good thing, "said Paul Rogers, head of the Roman strategy.
Like the group Soul Asylum in 1993
The AS Rome campaign recalls the initiative of the group Soul Asylum, author of a worldwide hit, Runaway Train, in 1993. During the clip appeared photographs of children and adolescents missing with the date of their disappearance as well than a number to call.
