Banned alcohol? The Germans make up for it with ciderMarch 14, 2019
Ninety minutes (and maybe more) with a place in the Europa League quarter-finals up for grabs. After the 0-0 in Frankfurt, Inter and Eintracht are playing the qualification at San Siro. And, for the occasion, Milan was invaded by German fans: 14,000 were expected, at the end about 16,000 arrived. Throughout the day they populated Piazza Duomo, with flags, scarves and choirs. There were also a thousand agents, but the situation is still calm and there was no kind of disorder. For security reasons, the sale of alcohol was prohibited between 12.00 and 20.00 in the city center and between 16.00 and 24.00 in the San Siro area. Many Eintracht fans, however, have equipped themselves earlier, taking the Europacup apple cider with the emblem of the Frankfurt company. And, again in Piazza Duomo, at the end of the lunch between the companies, the president of the German club Peter Fischer arrived. The latter was overwhelmed by the fans present, who wished him happy birthday with hugs and choirs.
